Opened in 2006, Iron City Mortorsports Park is located in the heart of the Carolinas between Charlotte, North Carolina and Greenville, South Carolina.  Iron City Motorsports Park is locally owned by Patrick Moorhead and run with the help of his wife Angela, while taking care of their three sons Elijah, and newborn twins Gabriel and Andrew.  Patrick also maintains his job as businessman and owner of one of the largest clearing and grading contractors in the southeast.  With the help of friends, family, and volunteers everyone has made this track a complete success that continues to grow every year.

Iron City Motorsports Park features a 1.4 mile long track that has huge up and down hill sections, as well as sweeping and tight turns, ending with an 80 foot finish line.  Last year we updated our track with the installation of a complete irrigation system. To update our track for the 2008 season more parking has been made available and a brand new concession stand built with complete restroom facilities.  Plans are also to construct a tunnel for riders to access the track without having to cross the roadway.  We also just purchased new lights for the track that will be installed at the end of the 2008 season and may result in some night races for the 2009 season.  And last but not least, we have reconstructed our entire website making everything easier to access.  Any information you need can be found on our website, from rules to races, as well as how to contact us.
